The Theme of the Seminar:

Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith, has gradually evolved into one of the leading girls’ college under the University of Burdwan. After her accreditation by NAAC to ‘A’ grade level recently in the second cycle of the scheme, in January, 2015, now it is a great occasion to introspect to visualize what has been achieved, what has been planed but not implemented and what should have been attempted to achieve to formulate action plan and policies towards general improvement of the quality of higher general education for our vibrant aspiring young global minded generations. All these action plans can at least make college education competitive enough to face today’s ever increasing challenges of the first changing aspiration and priorities of our young generations and to withstand the onslaught of the globalised economy. In view of general decline of interest, throughout our country in studying in traditional subject including basic sciences and also attending classes regularly, the very sustainability of the entire educational system may be going to be threatened. Thus, to formulate proper strategy, guide lines, perspective planning, innovative ideas  and lesson plans, perhaps this proposed seminar on “The importance of Benchmarking in Thrid Cycle of NAAC” would be immensely helpful and path breaking for our IQAC and ultimately to the institution and the end users equally.
