The Chemistry Department of Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith started initially with the General Course of Study at the UG level in 2006. The Honours course in Chemistry has been introduced with Science Faculty at the UG level in 2016. After the implementation of CBCS system under the affiliation of Bankura University, students from any science discipline has the opportunity to take Chemistry subjects as Core Subject (for Chemistry Honourse students) or as Elective subject (for any science discipline students). At present, the Department has one permanent teacher against one sanctioned post and four guest teachers. They offer their best for over-all enrichment of academic ambiance of the Department.
