NOTICE  INVITING  TENDER

Sealed quotations are invited from the reputed contractors / suppliers for supplying Low & High benches, Teachers’ tables and chairs to be required for class rooms. Furniture (Beds, Almirahs, Racks, Book Shelves etc.) for the college hostel.

Description of the Furniture :-

  1. Five - sitter Wooden (Frame made of Akashmuni Wood & Top made of Chatra Wood) High & Low Benches (Separate) with six legs for class rooms. 
  2. 50 cots (6ft X 3 ft) with iron frame and ply (19mm) top, with mosquito stands.
  3. 17 Pcs Iron Almirah (22 Gauge) with three shelves of 4 ft High x 2.5  ft Wide X 16 inch size  
  4. 16 Pcs Wall Hanging Book Racks for the hostel of 2ft X 1.5 ft to made of good quality Ply wood
  5. Wardrobe  with several racks made of ply wood of 23Ft (long)  X 11ft (Height) X 16 inch depth,  Framework with MS Angels  1.5 Ft X 6mm size as prescribed by the college authority, internal shelves with 19mm Blockboard on .5 ft MS Angles. Front side laminated 19mm blockboard, Locks of Link / Godrej, SS Handel - 6 inch
  6. Teachers’ Table and chairs made of teak wood for Class Rooms

(Size of the table – 2.5 Ft Height X 3Ft length X 2.5 Ft Wide)

(Size of the chair – 1.5 Ft Height X 1 Ft 7 inch Length X 1.6 inch Wide)

  1. Several Fiber tools for Class Rooms (Branded)
  2. 6ft X 2ft & 2.5 Ft Height Computer Table – 6 pcs &  6.5ft X 2ft & 2.5 Ft Height Computer Table – 2 pcs

 

Special Terms and Conditions of this tender

  1. Time of completion :  3 Months  
  2. No Price Escalation will be entertained.
  3. No arbitration for the work will be admissible as per Govt. Order No. 3370-(A) Dt. 20.03.1987 (Rules of PWD Roads 1987)
  4. Before submission of tender, the tenderers shall have to acquaint by actual visit to the site
  5. The contractor shall pay of charges and fees legally payable for act out of their works and hold the employer free of such cost.
  6. All materials have to be arranged by the contractor.  
  7. No tender will be entertained after the specified date and time 
  8. Decision of Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith authority will be final and binding on contractor in the case of any dispute
  9. Any conditional tender will be treated as informal and rejected
  10. Payment will be made as per availability of fund
  11. The works are time bound project and time of completion of work should be strictly followed
  12. The tenderer should quote the rate both in figures and words
  13. Contractor may have to execute more or less quantity as indicated in tender as per description of Engineer-in-Charge. Payment will be made as per actual work done. No extra claim will be entertained for that.
  14. Validity of the offer will remain unchanged for six months from the date of opening of the tender.
