NOTICE  INVITING  TENDER

            Sealed quotations are invited from reputed and experienced SUPPLY AGENCIES OR MANUFACTURERS OR AUTHORISED DEALERS for supply of construction materials like Special Class Bricks, Stone Chips – ¼ inch and 5/8 inch of Rampurhat/Pakur/Saltora , Good quality medium grade River Sand & Rebars of Fe500D or Fe600 with ISI Marks of 8mm to 20mm Dia. at the above address up to delivery to the site including all Taxes and charges complete with Chalan & Bill. The interested agencies are required to submit the rates of materials with specification and sample (if mentioned) for building construction. The rates in Sealed condition should reach to college office by 14.00 hrs on or before 20th January,2016. The quotations shall be opened on the last day of receipt of bids at 15.00 hrs in the office room of College in the presence of authorized representatives of quotationers. Details of drawings and estimates can be obtained for viewing from the office of the undersigned after obtaining necessary permission from the authority. The bid security (EMD) of Rs.2000/- should be paid for each type of Materials by acceptable mode of payment as Demand Draft in favour of Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith payable at Bankura.

            Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith authority does not bound himself to accept the lowest tender and can reject any or all tender/ tenders without assigning any reason thereof. Accepted tenderer will be intimated by post.

            Payment will be made as per availability of fund. No claim for delay in payment, if any, will be entertained. Any conditional tender will be treated as INFORMAL. No advance payment will be made. The payment will be made within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of supply. Other details can be had from the office of the undersigned on any working day between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Tenderer has to submit attested Xerox copies of S.T.C.C. or Pan Card or Income  Tax receipt (if any), Trade License or Authorization Certificate (if any) along with application. The tenderer having experience of supplying similar type of construction materials will be appreciated.

            The work must be commenced as specified in the Work Order under the supervision of concerned Engineer-in-charge and College Authority. The supply must be completed within specified period as required against the Work Order and no extension of time will be allowed. He, whose tender will be accepted, will be liable execute to more or less quantity as indicated in the estimate for the interest of the work. The successful tenderer shall have to deposit the initial Security Money which will be Rs.2,000/- in the form of Bank Draft or NSC duly pledged in favour of Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith within seven days from the date of issue of work order, failing of which the acceptance of tender will be withdrawn. 2 % of the total Bill Amount will be deducted as Income Tax by the undersigned as per the Income Tax Rule of Govt. of India. The conditions of this tender notice will be a part of the agreement. 

Special Terms and Conditions of this tender

  1. Time of completion :   3 (Three) Months
  2. No Price Escalation will be entertained.
  3. No arbitration for the work will be admissible as per Govt. Order No. 3370-(A) Dt. 20.03.1987 (Rules of PWD Roads 1987)
  4. Before submission of tender, the tenderers shall have to acquaint by actual visit to the site as regard prevailing conditions and tenderer submitting tender shall be deemed to have done so.
  5. The contractor shall pay of charges and fees legally payable for act out of their works and hold the employer free of such cost.
  6. Contractor has to abide by the rules and regulations as per PWD from 29911 (i). (ii) as applicable. The rates quoted by the Contractor should be given in figure as well as in words.
  7. No tender will be entertained after the specified date and time  
  8. Decision of Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith authority will be final and binding on contractor in the case of any dispute
  9. Any conditional tender will be treated as informal.
  10. Payment will be made as per availability of fund.
  11. The works are time bound project and time of completion of work should be strictly followed
  12. The tenderer should quote the rate both in figures and words in times of overall percentage above / below / at par with the schedule of rates
  13. Validity of the offer will remain unchanged for three months from the date of opening of the tender.
